      Main duties and responsibilities

      • Conduct molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) of III-Nitride heterostructures
      • Contribute to the overall expertise in epitaxy in different material systems, working in synergy with other EPiX team members
      • Maintenance and repair of the MBE epitaxy equipment to ensure optimal functionality
      • Ensure and oversee safe operation, use and maintenance of the MBE equipment
      • Manage logistics and purchase of components and consumables necessary for equipment operation
      • Train students and team members in the use of MBE systems
      • Perform basic characterizations of fabricated samples using techniques such as XRD, AFM, PL, SEM, Hall effect

      Profile

      • Proven expertise in MBE epitaxy of III-Nitride semiconductors
      • Ability to work independently while fostering collaboration among young engineers
      • Excellent command of English
      • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
      • A PhD degree is strongly preferred, though candidates with significant practical experience in the field will also be considered
