Team Mission and Stakeholders

• Are you passionate about building scalable cloud infrastructure, automating operational processes, and improving developer experience?
• Join our CloudOps team and help us supercharge the delivery and management of our cloud-based apps!
• We’re looking for a Cloud Operations Engineer with a focus on CI/CD pipelines and cloud migration who can work across teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of our apps in the cloud

In this role, you will:

• Collaborate with Infrastructure and Software Engineering teams to build reliable, scalable, and secure cloud environments
• Work with Software Engineers to improve their developer experience by shortening infrastructure set up time and increasing deployment frequency
• Collaborate with IT teams to design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment of cloud-based apps
• Monitor system performance, respond to incidents, and ensure healthiness of all our cloud-based apps
• Participate in the migration of classic infrastructure to the cloud
• Perform load testing, failover testing, and other processes to validate cloud infrastructure resilience
• Provide Level-3 support to operational teams and participate in the on-call rotation

Qualifications

• At least in Ops, DevOps, SRE, Software Engineering, or related roles
• 2 years of experience
• Strong understanding of and experience in automating deployments
• CI/CD pipelines
• Hands-on experience with like and
• Familiarity with (AWS, Azure, GCP) and experience working in cloud-native environments
• Solid skills in or other shell scripting languages
• Experience in one or more of the following languages:
• Knowledge of using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Understanding of (DNS, TCP/IP, load balancing) in a cloud context
• Experience with for CI/CD automation
• Experience with CD, Rollout, Workflows
• Experience with (Istio, Linkerd)
• Experience with (particularly using for build automation, and )
• Certified Kubernetes Application Developer () or equivalent experience with Kubernetes clusters
• Knowledge of and tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Elastic Stack
• A self-starter who enjoys automating tasks and improving processes
• A collaborative team player who enjoys working cross-functionally with development and infrastructure teams
• Fluent in English (French is a plus)
• Passionate about technology and eager to stay up-to-date with cloud innovations
