Drive initiatives to enhance the efficiency, reproducibility, and scalability of our development processes. Act as the primary liaison between the Tertiary Development team and other cross-functional teams (e.g., pipeline development, TECH, clinical affairs, software engineering) to coordinate deliverables. Requirements PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Human Genetics, or a related field, with relevant industry or postdoctoral experience. Proficient in Python, SQL, Git, and Bash. Proficiency in C++ or R is a plus. Extensive experience with high-performance computing (HPC) environments, bioinformatics workflows, parallelization, and containerization (e.g., Docker). Experience with NGS data analysis is a plus. Demonstrated knowledge of annotation, and interpretation of germline and somatic variants in human genomes. Strong grasp of modern software development practices, including CI/CD, unit testing, code reviews, and reproducible research principles.
