Ensure the safe and timely completion of site scopes in preparation for building construction and vertical trades. Coordinate closely with structural, utility, and MEP trades to support work sequencing and avoid rework or delays. Track civil progress against milestones and escalate potential impacts to overall project schedule. Quality Control & Compliance Perform daily inspections of excavation, compaction, utility installation, concrete placement, and erosion control measures. Ensure work is performed in compliance with project specifications, geotechnical reports, municipal requirements, and permitting conditions. Support field testing, third-party inspections, and recordkeeping for QA/QC documentation. Safety Leadership Enforce safe work practices including trench safety, traffic control, equipment operations, and stormwater compliance. Conduct daily safety briefings and toolbox talks with subcontractors. Collaborate with the EHS team to perform site audits and resolve safety issues promptly. Documentation & Reporting Maintain daily logs documenting manpower, weather, equipment usage, and work progress. Review and respond to RFIs, submittals, and field changes related to site and civil scopes. Coordinate redlines, as-builts, and closeout documentation for site systems. Required Qualifications: 7–10+ years of experience in civil/site construction, with 3+ years in a superintendent or field leadership role. Proven experience managing site work for data centers, industrial, or large commercial projects. Deep understanding of site preparation, earthwork, trenching, utilities, foundations, drainage, and concrete work. Ability to read and interpret civil site plans, survey data, grading and drainage drawings, and utility plans. Preferred Qualifications: OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety training. Experience with SWPPP, erosion and sediment control, and local/state permitting compliance. Familiarity with digital tools such as Bluebeam, ACC and BIM 360.
