The position will be initially based in Partners Group’s headquarters in Zug with the intention to re-locate to Stockholm following a successful ramp-up phase. As a private wealth business development professional, you will be responsible for building new and broadening existing distribution channels in the Nordics. You will closely collaborate with the colleagues covering institutional clients in the Nordics to build cross-selling opportunities Your key responsibilities will include: Developing and managing distribution initiatives with new and existing private wealth partners, including building and converting pipeline, client contract negotiations and onboarding with the ability to work cross departmental, in particular with Marketing, Portfolio Solutions and Structuring teams Being responsible for roll-out plans and education sessions of our distribution partners; managing aftersales activities Understanding the value proposition of Partners Group's full range of solutions from evergreen solutions to traditional closed-ended funds, including operational and regulatory features (ELTIF, SICAV, etc.) Becoming an expert in private markets and Partners Group’s platform, fund solutions and investment strategies across asset classes Preparing persuasive, and high-quality marketing presentations and responses to client requests, assisting with queries, and performance updates What we expect The successful candidate will have an in-depth understanding of the private wealth (wholesale) industry, and 5-8 years of experience in working for an asset manager with a private markets focus. For this position, we are looking for someone who works well in a very entrepreneurial organization and someone who possesses strong networking & organizational skills Strong academic background in finance, economics or a relevant discipline (MBA, Master's and/or CFA preferred) 5-15 years of relevant work experience in business development, sales & marketing and/or relationship management (preferably in the private markets industry) Previous experience with fund selection, wholesale or institutional sales departments in asset management, wealth management, or multi-family offices; has an established network across financial institutions and a proven ability to convert projects in the Nordics Demonstrated success in managing client relationships and identifying/converting new clients with a track record of fundraising success Familiarity with private markets solutions (from evergreen solutions to closed-ended funds) Proficiency in Business English (both written and verbal) as well as written and verbal proficiency in preferably Swedish Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate in a polished, professional manner Attention to detail, extremely organized, and commitment to excellence.
