Hitachi Energy is looking for a Planning and Fulfillment Manager (f/m/d) to join our team in Satigny. In this role, you will lead in site planning processes such as Demand Planning, Sales and Operation Planning, Master Planning, Detailed Scheduling, and Materials Planning. You will lead or contribute to cross-functional initiatives to enhance customer delivery performance, lead times, forecasting accuracy or inventory including contract assets. You will ensure material availability and solve operational purchasing challenges in the pursue of the optimal capacity utilization. You will take charge of ensuring that our processes meet the highest standards of quality, compliance, and efficiency. How you will make an impact Lead the site supply planning process, ensuring alignment with regional and local demand plans to achieve business objectives Oversee and optimize inventory levels to reduce excess and obsolete stock while ensuring optimal availability Collaborate with sales and marketing to forecast demand, using data insights for effective supply adjustments Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment, driving improvements to boost customer satisfaction Manage logistics and sourcing coordination, overseeing RFQ processes and supporting transport management Track key performance metrics, providing insights and reports to senior management Drive continuous process improvement initiatives, utilizing technology and best practices for enhanced operations Lead and mentor a team of Planners and Fulfillment Specialists, fostering a collaborative environment to achieve departmental goals Prepare and manage the annual warehouse budget, monitor progress, and implement cost optimization measures as needed — while assessing risks and ensuring the safety of personnel and equipment Your background Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory management and operations planning Proficiency in ERP systems and supply chain management software, preferably SAP Key User Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken. The Opportunity Join our dynamic Engineering team as a Project Lead Engineer and take charge of technically leading the execution and tendering of cutting-edge eMobility electric power supply infrastructure projects—including DC charging solutions for electric buses. You’ll shape technical solutions, lead engineering efforts across MV & LV distribution systems and power conversion equipment and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive innovation and excellence. How you’ll make an impact Lead the technical execution and tendering of eMobility electrical infrastructure projects (e.g., bus depots, terminal charging stations) Own all engineering activities across project lifecycles—from concept to commissioning Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams (Sales, R&D, Product Specialists, Supply chain, Site Execution, etc.) Coordinate and supervise remote engineering teams for primary and secondary engineering tasks Design power supply system architectures, perform sizing calculations, and prepare technical specifications Evaluate supplier offers and support procurement processes with Supply Chain Management Provide technical expertise during tendering and project execution phases Translate customer requirements into optimized, compliant technical solutions Lead technical discussions with clients, resolve site queries, and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables Ensure safety, compliance, and engineering excellence throughout the project Your background Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, with a focus on Power Electronics or Power Systems 7–10 years of experience in MV/LV power distribution systems, electrical systems design & engineering Experience with DC power supply systems, power converters, energy storage, or harmonic filtering is a plus Strong knowledge of engineering tools and software (e.g., BIM, CAD, ETAP, MathCAD) Proactive, results-driven mindset with strong teamwork and communication skills Committed to safety, quality, and continuous learning Willingness to travel up to 10% for customer and project meetings Fluent in English and French; German is a strong advantage Interested in joining our team?
