The opportunity Join our team and play a pivotal role in supporting the technical complexities encountered by our liquid-filled traction transformer facilities globally. Your contribution will enhance the information exchange between our centers of excellence and local engineering hubs, ensuring a robust and cohesive technical network. How you’ll make an impact Provide technical support to liquid-filled TT factories on special projects and complex cases Perform design reviews on specific requests Support TT factories on special customer requests, both at the tendering and order design stages Facilitate the sharing of construction technologies among Traction products. Provide GPG and HUB engineering technical support on failure analysis. Collect information from different factories on failure analysis to create a "Failure Library." Provide training to improve local engineers' skills and competencies Support the GPG sales team in big tenders Your background MSc or BSc in mechanical engineering Over 10 years of work experience as a mechanical lead engineer in the field of oil-filled transformers, preferably TT Advanced knowledge of 3D CAD tools and PLM (preferably PTC Creo and Windchill) Advanced knowledge of transformer manufacturing processes Solid technical expertise in problem resolution Project management skills Action and result-oriented mindset and excellent communication skills and team spirit Fluent in English; French is a big plus Self-driven, motivated, and autonomous Willingness to travel worldwide to local factories (China, India) to train colleagues on new technologies and meet customers (up to 30% of the time More about us Our flexible working practices help you optimize personal and business performance while creating an environment where all employees can develop their skills and grow.

The opportunity Join our Service unit at Hitachi Energy, renowned worldwide for power transmission and distribution. Our Service unit is responsible for the worldwide after-sales support of Traction transformers and Power transformers, including training, installation and commissioning, scheduled maintenance, added value services, troubleshooting, extensions, retrofits, and replacements. In this challenging role, you will manage the entire end-to-end process of our projects and confidently represent the company's interests towards our customers. We are looking for someone with a technical background and experience in Project Management, who is motivated to plan, manage, and control project activities with a hands-on approach and international exposure. How you’ll make an impact Execute diverse projects successfully from handover by the sales department to completion of site works or in-house repair work Coordinate the project team, ensuring each member completes assigned tasks according to the project plan Define and manage all project milestones, ensuring on-time, on-quality, and on-cost delivery Proactively report deviations to management and initiate corrective actions Ensure customer satisfaction through open and proactive communication Manage changes in scope of delivery, seeking opportunities to increase revenue and margin while reducing project risks Achieve project deliverables and compliance with contract requirements Share knowledge, success stories, and learnings with the team, and lead continuous improvement actions Your background Technical master’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering 3 – 5 years of experience in project management; PM certification is beneficial Positive mindset and constructive approach to complex or urgent challenges Business fluent in English and French; German or other languages are a plus Excellent communication and organizational skills Proficient in MS Office; experience with SAP is ideal More about us Our flexible working practices help you optimize personal and business performance while creating an environment where all employees can develop their skills and grow.
