Finance Analyst The Finance Analyst (FA) is part of Finance organization and focusing on creating high-quality reporting and forecasting on our hotels line of business. The role involves interacting with key stakeholders across the organization helping to drive the business forward. The FA operates in a global team and thrives in a fast-pasted environment. The successful individual possesses excellent financial knowledge combined with technical skills. What you'll do: Execute weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting of our financial performance Support forecast & planning processes, ensuring quality, accuracy, and analytical reviews Analyze trends and variances with providing insights to key stakeholders Collaborate with key stakeholders to drive understanding of financial impacts, raise risk & opportunities Deliver ad-hoc analyses on pre-defined metrics for our hotel line of business Simplify reporting & forecasting models to improve efficiency and performance Who you are: 1 + years previous working experience in an international environment, preferably with finance background Bachelor’s/Master’s in Economics, Mathematics, or any other related technical field; or equivalent related professional experience Knowledge of database extraction languages (i.e.SQL) with Excel proficiency and willingness to learn Experience with Teradata/Oracle/Tableau to extract and analyze data Detail oriented and organized, being able to competing multiple priorities Knowledge in PowerPoint & advanced Excel experience Problem-solving skills, appetite for business impact and execution Self-driven, curious and proactive to understand, learn and improve Up to date with current technologies and financial developments About Expedia Group Expedia Group (NASDAQ: EXPE) powers travel for everyone, everywhere through our global platform.
