Vous participerez au bon fonctionnement de la plateforme en assurant la qualité et la fiabilité des analyses, à l’entretien des différents instruments ainsi qu’au support aux utilisateurs (ISIC et plus généralement EPFL). Le type d’échantillons à analyser et le profil des utilisateurs étant extrêmement varié, nous recherchons une personne ouverte, flexible et organisée, souhaitant travailler dans un environnement cosmopolite et multiculturel Principales tâches et responsabilités Analyses de spectrométrie de masse haute résolution pour les utilisateurs de la plateforme ISIC-MSEAP, principalement des molécules organiques dans des applications variées. Les tâches principales incluent: Préparation des échantillons Analyses MS par infusion, injection directe ou couplée à la chromatographie gazeuse (GC) ou liquide (LC), en fonction de la demande Maintenance de base des instruments : nettoyage régulier de la source, dépannages et gestion des déchets Aide au maintien global de la plateforme Participation aux réunions de groupe Certificat Fédéral de Capacité (CFC) de laborantin.e ou Diplôme d’ingénieur.e HES en chimie analytique Expérience dans l’utilisation de spectromètres de masse Expérience dans le domaine de la chimie analytique en général A l'aise dans le travail en équipe tout en sachant opérer de manière autonome et prendre des initiatives Excellentes aptitudes dans la communication et capacité à travailler dans un contexte orienté service Rigueur, sens de l'organisation, à l’aise dans la gestion des priorités Maîtrise des outils informatiques standards Français et anglais : niveau B2 requis, au minimum Vous aurez une activité variée et intéressante au sein d’une plateforme de spectrométrie de masse à la pointe des dernières technologies, avec de nombreux contacts avec les chercheurs et les collaborateurs des autres plateformes techniques et analytiques de l’Institut des Sciences et Ingénierie Chimiques

Le ou la candidate sélectionnée sera intégrée dans le service technique dédié au vide, gaz, cryogénie et hydraulique composé d'ingénieurs et de techniciens du SPC. You will contribute to the development of state-of-the-art methodologies and new approaches in high-resolution cryo-EM and cryo-ET. You will be responsible to maintain and develop the excellence of service in sample preparation, data acquisition, and data analysis.
