Your mission The system engineer is the technical responsible for an electro-mechanic product (slip ring, among others), and develops compliant, robust, and cost-efficient technical solutions. Technical authority within project development and serial production. From customer specification, develop compliant, robust, and cost-efficient technical solutions. Technical responsibility for the product dimensioning (electrical performances, thermal aspect.) Responsible for concept selection, technical definition, and documentation; compiling the manufacturing data package (manufacturing file), and Responsible for assembly and test process, tools and requirements. Requirements management: verification control, flow down to lower-level specification. Technical discussions of requirement status with customer, handling of RfDs, NCs, NCFs (formally established by PA), maintaining and issuing VCD. Responsible for technical documentation. Create documentation, such as: Design Description, VCD, User’s Manual, Procurement Specifications, Test plan & Test procedures Interface with customer and suppliers on technical topics. Capitalizing on Feedback. Technical support on proposals for M&S department. Participate in R&D roadmap, defining strategic electronic development Your story Graduate in Electrical and control systems Engineering or Electronic Engineering (EPF, HES, Master or equivalent) Autonomy, flexibility, curious, capacity to take challenge by solving problems. Background in analog to digital converter acquisition, low level signals Knowledge of NI equipment Knowledge of Labview and PCB design (Altium Designer or equivalent) A previous minimum relevant experience (3-5 years) in interdisciplinary engineering for demanding applications, for example: aerospace, scientific instruments, military industries, vacuum, or MedTech, ... Experience in RF measurements (IL/RL) and design Experience in Slipring design Experience in Multiphysics tools (Comsol) Any specialist expertise is welcome (reliability analysis, thermal design, vacuum technology, electrical signal transfer like Ethernet, video...) Experience in Mechatronic systems. Works well-organized and able to analyze complex problems comprehensively and take a step-by-step-approach to solutions.
