The programme This is a unique 18-month experience where we offer you a permanent position along with a specific programme with rotations in different teams to build your expertise and professional skills. Your team The Technology & Operations (T&O) division is responsible for designing and integrating a variety of software applications. These range from portfolio management systems and trading platforms to banking and corporate solutions. This division is pivotal in driving the Group's key innovations while maintaining business operations and advancing custodian and fund administration services. As a member of the Data Platforms team, you will be responsible for designing, building and operating reliable relational database services across the Pictet Group and its partners, in accordance with security and compliance standards. Your role • Designing, building, operating and continuously enhancing Oracle, MS SQL and PostgreSQL databases. • Ensuring infrastructures remain secure and up to date. • Participating in an on-call duty rota with other team members. • Promoting software development and DevOps practices. • Working with team members and stakeholders to manage technical projects. Your profile • A degree in Engineering, or a qualification deemed equivalent. • At least seven years’ experience in a similar role. • Extensive knowledge of security, network and operating systems (familiarity with IBM AIX would be a real asset). • Strong knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, or equivalent). • Extensive experience of DevOps practices and ecosystems (K8s, Ansible, Git, Puppet). • Relevant experience of relational databases performance tuning and troubleshooting. • Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Inquiring mind and eager to learn about technologies and acquire new skills. • Fluent in French and English. • Must be resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate.
