Could you be the full-time Serial Test Manager (f/m/d) in Villeneuve we’re looking for? Your Future Role: In Villeneuve, over 250 colleagues from 15 different countries work together to manufacture and maintain multiple units, locomotives, trams, and passenger cars from Switzerland and other European countries. Our product line Services offers a complete range of solutions to maximise the value of customer assets. Our offerings cover the entire lifecycle of the asset, from design and build, to operation, to end of life. You’ll report to Antonin MICHE, Site Production and Testing Director and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team. We’ll look for you to : Systematic & Efficient handing over of trains from Manufacturing to Testing and ensure final Customer Acceptance as per contract Manage the Testing Teams on site Have a clear overview of the test planning of all the projects in the site to ensure it is aligned with site testing capacity/facility and escalate to the management when necessary Organize weekly review with the EPU Managers on testing KPI’s (QCD) and take actions on critical issues Monitor and regularly update management & key interfaces about the progress on KPI’S of each project to reach the target QCD All About You : We value passion and attitude over experience. With 300 colleagues, our Villeneuve site servs as a global competence center for high-performance traction technology and a development hub for locomotives, bogies, mechanical and electrical systems, as well as services for the local and global markets. Our corporate functions play a key role in supporting and continuously improving the performance of our sites. You’ll report to [HIRING MANAGER] and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team. We’ll look for you to : Business development: Support Service growth strategy for Service in CH and for the site Villeneuve Implement business development strategy in close relationship with Customer directors; Develop relationships with customers and partners; Seek and propose to the Customer Director & Platform additional opportunities. Tender Phase: Work in close relationship with Tender Leader and the full tender team Determine the complexity of the tender based on reliable information using criticality matrix Analyze in detail the request for proposal (RFP) Support Tender Leader to perform Win No Go, Tender Review Meeting (TRM), Tender Transfer Meeting (TTM), Win Loss Analysis (WLA) and consolidation of inputs from Support functions Manage QCD optimization (in liaise with Bid Costing Manager if any) and obtain clear commitments from different actors Check, challenge and properly consolidate documented commitments Prepare the documentation necessary to submit to Customer (technical description, planning, pricing) Project Phase Definition of Project objectives and main drivers (product/service performance, planning) to achieve customer satisfaction in the frame of the Contract Be accountable for project QCDP performance and optimize Project Financial performance (Margin & Cash) As WP Owner of the Project Management Work Package, he/she is QCDP accountable for all the activities of his/her WP. Be responsible for the project governance. Define project strategy in line with contract requirements, including Project Management Plan (PMP) elaboration and objectives allocation to Sub-Systems (planning, cost, quality, performance). To learn more about the VIE program and the eligibility requirements, please, click here Could you be the VIE – Testing & Commisionning Engineer we’re looking for? Your future role As a VIE based on the train testing depot you will participate in the testing phase of ICNG project to ensure successful service & interact with local operational team. You will be incorporated into the System Engineering team for functional systems (Doors, Heating Ventilation AC, Passenger Information, Driver’s Desk…), in order to : Carry out the test of trains in accordance with the testing procedure and as per the delivery schedule Understand and report critical issues that may affect the reliability growth Support the Alstom products performance by detecting and solving critical issues to meet the expected reliability target. As an international team a very good level of English (written and spoken) is requested. We’ll look to you for: Testing & Commissionning: Understand in detail the Acceptance Criteria of the customer for the Project/Product. Respect with rigor the test procedures. Ensure that all Serial Test Procedures are covered and the completion of test reports Manage the repair of failures as soon as they appear. Trace with precision and rigor each failure. In case of unsolved deviations, escalate to the EPU Test Manager. Propose improvement of the process. Work in a team spirit and transparency with its shift and the other shift. Ensure Interface and perfect working relationship with: Test Engineering Technician, Industrial Quality. Escalate any non-up-to-date testing tools. Should be aware of their KPI’s and performance on the respective KPI’s. Responsibilities Reliability / Availability / Maintenability Understand in detail the Acceptance Criteria of the reliability at train level and system level for the Project/Product. Supporting the other stakeholders (design, industrial, sourcing, validation etc..) in the definition of appropriate measures to meet the reliability actions. Define issues responsibility, failure mode and possible rootcause, via data analysis from Alstom monitoring system (HealthHub) and via logs from subsystem. Detect patterns and occurrences that have critical impact on reliability. Contribute to the analysis of issues identified on the field (8D) having a significant impact on the product Reliability performance, and support the outcome of their resolution All about you We value passion and attitude over experience.
