Could you be the full-time Serial Test Manager (f/m/d) in Villeneuve we’re looking for? Your Future Role In Villeneuve, over 250 colleagues from 15 different countries work together to manufacture and maintain multiple units, locomotives, trams, and passenger cars from Switzerland and other European countries. Our product line Services offers a complete range of solutions to maximise the value of customer assets. Our offerings cover the entire lifecycle of the asset, from design and build, to operation, to end of life. You’ll report to Antonin MICHE, Site Production and Testing Director and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team. We’ll look for you to : Systematic & Efficient handing over of trains from Manufacturing to Testing and ensure final Customer Acceptance as per contract Manage the Testing Teams on site Have a clear overview of the test planning of all the projects in the site to ensure it is aligned with site testing capacity/facility and escalate to the management when necessary Organize weekly review with the EPU Managers on testing KPI’s (QCD) and take actions on critical issues Monitor and regularly update management & key interfaces about the progress on KPI’S of each project to reach the target QCD All About You We value passion and attitude over experience. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role: Minimum 5 years experience in Testing & Commissioning of Electrical, Control, onboard communications & network systems within process industry, railways or factory automation and minimum 2 years’ experience in Test Engineering (T&C Methods) Fluent in English and French Have a good understanding of key electrical and/or mechanical processes (in particular earthing & bonding, cabling, protection and instrumentation) Strong leadership; result-driven mindset Ability to foster communications between multiple stakeholders (product engineering, manufacturing engineering, industrial functions…) Things You’ll Enjoy Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You’ll report to Christoph TIETZ (Site Managing Director) and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team. In your role, you are also integrated in the regional communication team. We’ll look for you to : Maintain and update project schedules in alignment with the Time Management Plan and company procedures Gather progress data from internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure accurate tracking Participate in regular schedule review meetings to support project planning and alignment Identify and report actual or potential delays to the core project team in a timely manner Prepare and deliver standard progress reports and schedule updates, including key performance indicators (KPIs) Ensure timely and consistent updates of schedules and reporting tools to support project visibility and decision-making All About You We value passion and attitude over experience.
