      PowerBuilder Developer

      We are looking for a motivated PowerBuilder developer to join our team to enhance and maintain software applications in the commodity trading area. You are part of our Software Development Team working in close cooperation with our application owners, other IT Teams, and end user community.  This position requires expert communication skills, analytical thinking, and solid understanding of software development concepts.

      Technologies

      • PowerBuilder
      • Database development with Oracle PL/SQL
      • Java / .NET experience would be a plus

      Delivering value to our stakeholders requires us to:

      • Collaborate with business analysts on a regular basis for requirements shaping and solution design
      • Provide 3rd level support to the Operations Team
      • Work with off-site developers to ensure they also understand the context of the changes
      • Ensure maintainability and stability of our applications through testing of our work

      Candidates who would excel in our environment:

      • Have a minimum 10 years- experience of Powerbuilder, SQL, and PL/SQL
      • Strive to learn and understand the business concepts delivered by the applications
      • Are educated to degree level (or equivalent)
      • Have strong language skills - a high English standard is required; German is a plus
