Filling Line Keeper - CDMO

The Role

In this pivotal role, you will take ownership of a state-of-the-art automated filling line, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and regulatory compliance. You-ll be the go-to technical expert for the system, working cross-functionally to drive improvements, support operational readiness, and lead maintenance and troubleshooting strategies. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with high-end automation, contribute to life-changing products, and support a committed production team through knowledge transfer and hands-on leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the full operational readiness and technical management of a highly automated filling line
• Serve as technical lead and systems expert, supporting hardware, software, and interface platforms
• Conduct equipment qualification and format requalification
• Develop and implement a maintenance and reliability strategy
• Identify root causes and process improvement opportunities in close collaboration with QA and production teams
• Act as primary liaison for isolator, Scada, and associated systems
• Lead onboarding and system training for production personnel

Requirements

• Technical degree (preferably in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or similar)
• Hands-on experience in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally in fill & finish operations
• Strong affinity for automation and electronic systems
• A collaborative mindset with adaptability in fast-paced environments
• Proven problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement approach
• Fluent in German and English (spoken and written)
• Motivated by challenges and eager to make a meaningful contribution to the organization
