Operational Responsibilities:

• Daily monitoring of accounting operations: verification, control, allocation, and data entry
• Participation in monthly closings in compliance with reporting deadlines
• Daily cash control and reconciliation with the cash machine across all departments
• Monitoring, recording, and validation of customer payments, as well as follow-ups
• Implementation and adherence to internal financial procedures
• Reporting of non-compliance issues in the absence of the Financial Controller or Assistant Financial Controller
• Compliance with service and presentation standards, as well as current regulations (internal rules, collective labor agreement, Marriott Code of Ethics)

Profile Sought

• Excellent command of accounting fundamentals
• Proven experience with accounting software and industry tools (Opera, Micros, Book4Time)
• Precision, organization, discretion, and a strong sense of responsibility
• Strong analytical and summarizing skills
• Team spirit, reliability, courtesy, and professional conduct
• Fluent in English and French
• Degree or certification in accounting
