Senior Process Engineer (m/w/d) 100%

Location : Grenchen (SO), Switzerland

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Continually strive to balance and optimize line throughput, including efforts to minimize changeover downtime (i.e. common set-ups)
• Monitor machine management data to maximize utilization and minimize machine-generated scrap
• Monitor the process running in production; troubleshoot problems associated with processes and assist in resolving quality issues
• Establish and ensure process control and maintains appropriate documentation
• Provide input on creative ways to reduce costs by streamlining processes and systems
• Coordinate line reconfigurations and machine move activities, including equipment arrival, positioning and installation, and scheduling of support groups (Machine Support, Facilities, etc.) using the approved communication process
• Establish processes for new product lines; document product development and changes; evaluate new product performance
• Debug moderately complex problems within a portion of new systems, tooling and automation
• Support production in a daily basis and participate actively to the main JOS meetings, as required
• Encourage open communication and exchange of information within the department and between the various support groups
• Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor
• Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy

YOUR BACKGROUND

• Completed degree in a relevant engineering or scientific field or equivalent advanced training
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar field
• Work experience in the pharmaceutical or medical field an advantage
• Excellent communication and presentation skills as well as good problem-solving skills
• Very good knowledge of German and English required
